Junction Center advocates with local housing authorities, landlords, developers and the public to expand housing opportunities for persons with disabilities.

Junction Center for Independent Living, Inc is a strong advocate for new residential and public construction be built using Universal Design principles so that the removal of residential barriers allow for successful aging in place.

The Junction Center for Independent Living, Inc. is an agent for the Virginia Housing Development Authority to administer rental assistance vouchers for low income individuals with disability to assist them in finding safe, accessible, and affordable housing.

The voucher program of VHDA provides rental assistance to individuals throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.
